Palghar SP Balasaheb Patil told the media that the interim report of Mercedes-Benz says that the speed of Cyrus Mistry’s car was 100 kmph before the accident. At the same time, while hitting the divider on the bridge, its speed had increased to 89 kilometers per hour. Apart from Cyrus, there were 3 other people in the car. A female doctor from Mumbai was driving the car. All these people were returning from Ahmedabad to Mumbai when the car accident happened near Palghar. After the accident, the airbags were opened in front of the people sitting in front. Whereas, Cyrus sitting behind and the female doctor’s brother-in-law with him did not wear seat belts.
According to the postmortem report, Cyrus and the person who lost his life with him suffered serious injuries to the head and internal organs. SP Patil said that now the officers and engineers of Mercedes Benz will come to Palghar on Monday. They will come here and cooperate in the investigation of the car accident. With their help, the police will find out where the mess happened and Cyrus Mistry lost his life.
