Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bowl first. Delhi Capitals gave Rajasthan a target of 221 runs to win, in response to which Rajasthan scored 201 runs. With this victory, Delhi has 12 points from six wins in 12 matches. The team has reached fifth position. Delhi Capitals has gained one place. Rajasthan Royals team is in second place with 16 points in 11 matches.
Rajasthan Royals had a bad start
Rajasthan Royals, chasing the target, lost the wicket of Yashasvi Jaiswal (04) on the second ball of the innings, who was caught by Axar Patel at mid-off off the ball of Khalil Ahmed. Captain Sanju Samson looked in good form from the beginning. Butler hit a six on Axar Patel but was bowled on the next ball. He scored 19 runs. Royals scored 67 runs for two wickets in the power play. Abhishek Porel played a big innings
For Delhi Capitals, who came to bat first, Fraser-McGurk and Abhishek Porel gave a fast start to the host team. After Fraser-McGurk hit a four in the first over of Trent Boult, the fast bowler hit two fours and a six in the next over. He scored 28 runs with four fours and two sixes on Avesh Khan in the fourth over and completed his half-century in just 19 balls. Shai Hope (01) was then unfortunately run out. Ashwin was the most successful bowler for the Royals, taking three wickets for 24 runs. Trent Boult (1 wicket for 48 runs in four overs), Yuzvendra Chahal (1 wicket for 48 runs in four overs) and Avesh Khan (42 runs without wicket in two overs) proved to be very expensive.
