New Delhi. On Wednesday, around 100 schools in Delhi and NCR received an e-mail threatening bomb blasts. Delhi Police is investigating this matter and according to sources, there is a suspicion of a major conspiracy. For this reason, Delhi Police has tightened security in crowded areas, IGI Airport, railway stations, bus stands and markets. The police feel that the way so many schools were threatened to be bombed, there is a fear that mischievous elements may play games by drawing attention to the other side. In such a situation, police vigil has been increased in crowded areas and other places and suspicious people are kept under watch. The police has also appealed to the people that if they see anything suspicious, they should immediately report it.
Hindi newspaper Amar Ujala has quoted Delhi Police sources as saying that e-mails about placing bombs in schools were sent from the same ID and Russia’s VPN i.e. Virtual Private Network was used for this. By using a VPN, the real IP address of the e-mail sender is hidden and the new IP address of the country in which he uses the VPN is visible. Police believe that these threatening e-mails were sent from some other country. In the next few days, technical experts will break this VPN and find out the real IP address. The reason for this is that technically it is very difficult.
Delhi Police sources had said on Wednesday itself that strict action will be taken against the accused in this case. However, if the e-mail is sent from some other country, then the police will have to gather information about the main accused along with his associates in India. At present, the police have tightened security and are maintaining vigil, but the first intention is to somehow trace the perpetrators of bomb blasts in schools.
