Here on Friday, in Narayangarh, Congress leaders made a symbolic protest with the farmers demanding early compensation. At the same time, when opium farmers reached the societies to collect urea in Dhundharka area, they were returned colorless.
On Friday also, the revenue staff went to the fields and saw the loss of crops and made panchnamas. Right now opium is seeing the most damage in the fields because the balls were full and opium has got mixed in the soil due to breaking due to hail. Wheat, gram, fenugreek, lentils and other crops have also suffered damage. Along with hailstorm and unseasonal rain at many places in the district, hailstorm and rain have wreaked havoc in Dhandadka area including Daloda tehsil. About three inches of rain has been recorded here. There are some villages where the entire crop has been destroyed. Dhamnar, Hatunia, Nipania, Badwan and many other villages of Dhandadka area and Majesari, Majesra, Tajkhedi, Semalia Hira, Richhalal Muhan, Patella, Guradiya, Jawasia, Rakoda, Nandavata of Daloda are many villages in the area, where there are fully cropped. is wasted. In the areas where the opium crop was also at its peak, incision work was going on in many places. The rain has destroyed everything. The crop got ruined but still the farmer is struggling to absorb the water filled in the fields and recover the cost by covering the remaining crop. The farmer needs urea to absorb the moisture of the fields. Cooperative societies are full of urea. But the society managers say that there is no right to sell in cash. If March closing is going on in the society in the name of the account, then urea cannot be given in the account also.
Compensate assuming 100% loss
Narayangarh. Opium, wheat, linseed, fenugreek, isabgol and other crops have been badly affected due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm in the area. But on the contrary, the administration is playing the game of survey. The government should immediately give compensation to the farmers by assessing the 100% loss in the crops without any survey. During the Kamal Nath government, crops were damaged due to excessive rain, but the then Chief Minister Kamal Nath did not conduct any survey and gave adequate compensation to the farmers.
Mandsaur district vice-president Parashuram Sisodia said this. He was speaking during a sit-in demonstration on the Mandsaur-Manasa road demanding compensation for the crops damaged by rain and hailstorm on Friday. During this, Congress leaders, workers and farmers also did a symbolic movement. Malhargarh Block Congress President Anil Sharma said that whenever there is any crisis on farmers, poor and laborers, Congress always stands shoulder to shoulder. After the loss of farmers’ crops, Congress is continuously demanding compensation without survey. Regarding the crop of opium, District Congress President Navkrishna Patil and Congress leaders have met the District Opium Officer and demanded relief. District Congress Vice President Azhar Hayat Meo, District Congress General Secretary Ramchandra Karun, Liaquat Meo, former JIP member Ashok Khichi, Secretary Babubhai Mansoori, Block Congress spokesperson Sunderlal Parihar, City Congress President Babu Khan Mewati, Balwant Patidar also addressed the dharna.
Farmers arrived with a damaged crop
Nearby farmers including Jharda came to the dharna with Isabgol and wheat crop destroyed by hailstorm. The bad crop was handed over to Tehsildar Premshankar Patel along with the memorandum. City Congress President Babu Khan Mewati read the memorandum. After the dharna, the Congress workers present on the Mandsaur-Manasa road did a symbolic vigil for 10 minutes. The Congress leaders demanded adequate compensation from the Shivraj government considering the plight of the farmers without survey. Opium crop ruined, farmers reached MP

Former sarpanch of village Dhakadkhedi Karulal Dhakad, Mukhiya Radheshyam Dhakad, Parmanand Dhakad, Asharam Dhakad, Devishankar Dhakad, Srilal Dhakad, Ramsingh Dhakad, Ramdayal Dhakad, Kashiram Dhakad, Pursingh Dhakad, Satyanarayan Dhakad, Jagdish Dhakad, Harish Dhakad, Harish Dhakad and other farmers reached the residence of MP Sudhir Gupta and informed about the damage caused to the opium crop. Told them that due to massive hailstorm in villages Dhakkhedi, Lodhakhedi, Galana and Runija, the crops of the farmers have been ruined. The farmer is upset. Due to hailstorm and heavy rain, opium bundles have been broken. This year the farmer is not in a position to meet the average due to the damage caused to the opium crop due to natural wrath. The farmers said that there has been a loss of about 90 percent in the opium crop. The incision had begun in the opium dodo. The knots were broken due to hail, strong wind and rain. The farmers have demanded immediate compensation for providing relief by conducting a survey of the damage to the opium crop.
Reaching the fields and observing
Mandsaur. State Congress General Secretary Mahendra Singh Gurjar visited the affected villages of Patella, Majesra, Tajkhedi, Garoda affected by rain and hailstorm and inspected the affected crops. The maximum damage has been done in rabi crops like opium, linseed, wheat, gram, coriander, isabgol etc. Affected farmers said that till now the employees of Revenue Department have not come to our village to conduct survey. Gurjar said that farmers have a constitutional right to get compensation amount under RBC for crops destroyed due to natural calamity. Government should give compensation immediately. The damage assessment of the affected opium crop should also be done by the Revenue Department.
