The opposition is trying to spread hatred by raising questions about the timing of the report titled “Analysis of Share of Religious Minorities in the Country” by the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, but is not denying this report, why after all, because the report which I said he is right. After the arrival of this report, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is advocating to talk about the issues of unemployment, farmers and women’s safety but is not denying this report. The opposition does not have any meaningful logical statement in response to this report.
Actually the truth is that the demographic balance of the country is deteriorating. Population balance is the basis of social balance. This balance is created on the basis of gender, economic and regional functions, which forms the basis of a society in which different types of identities, worship systems and creeds can be important dimensions. Therefore coordination of these things with the population is very important. If there is no coordination then the social structure can get disturbed.
In the report that has been released, it is clearly stated that the population of Hindus in India decreased by 7.82 percent between 1950 and 2015. Meanwhile, an increase of 43.15 percent was recorded in the population of Muslims. The trend of decline in the population of Hindus has also been seen in the neighboring Hindu majority country Nepal. At the same time, the population of majority Buddhists in Myanmar has also declined.
Let us tell you that the Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council has studied the demographic changes in 167 countries of the world between 1950 and 2015. The council has released this report. In these countries, those whose population is more than 75 percent are considered to be the majority. According to the report, the majority population in these countries has decreased by 22 percent in 65 years. But this trend does not apply to Muslim majority countries. Muslim population has increased in 38 Muslim majority countries. The purpose of the report is to assess the impact of demographic changes in a country on its democratic process and governance system. This is not happening only in India, it is happening all over the world. Dutch right-wing politician Eva Vlaardingerbroek says in one of her speeches that due to the number of Muslim refugees coming from the Middle East to European countries, the situation is becoming worse there too. He had told that their number has reached 54 percent in London, 70 percent in Brussels, 56 percent in Amsterdam and 58 percent in The Hague. Due to this, the ecosystem there is also changing.
In a speech to the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on August 11, 1947, Mohammad Ali Jinnah had said, “You are free to go to your temples, you can go to your mosques or to any other place in this state of Pakistan.” Can go to the place of worship. You can belong to any religion, caste or sect, the state has nothing to do with it. What happened there did not happen as Jinnah had said. At the time of independence i.e. in 1947, the total population of Hindus in Pakistan was 20.05 percent. Which has reached 1.6 percent. After all, where did the Hindus go? The answer is that most of the Hindus came under pressure and converted to Islam. According to a report of Human Rights Commission Pakistan, every year about 1000 girls are forcibly converted. Most of these girls are between 14 and 20 years of age.
Before raising questions about the timing of the report in India, the opposition should know that these figures are only of Indian Muslims, the number of infiltrators has not been revealed yet. Talking about statistics, due to Bangladeshi infiltrators in West Bengal, the Muslim population in eight border districts has increased from 30 to 40 percent. Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrators have been continuously settling in the 8 border districts of West Bengal since 1971. Instead of stopping this infiltration, the Left Front government, which was in power for 34 years from 1977 to 2011, provided voter ID cards, ration cards, Aadhaar cards to the infiltrators and also gave them houses, land leases, etc. In return, the Left Front got outright Muslim votes till 2006, but after the Nandigram violence in 2007, this Muslim vote bank went in favor of Trinamool Congress. In the eight border districts of North Dinajpur, South Dinajpur, Malda, Murshidabad, Nadia, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas and Howrah, the Muslim population has increased to 35 to 40 percent.
Similarly, Muslim population is continuously increasing in Uttarakhand also. The Muslim population in the state was 11.9 percent in 2001, 13.9 percent in 2011 and now it is expected to increase to 16 percent by 2022. Uttarakhand has become the state with the fastest growing Muslim population in India after Assam. Same is the situation in many other states of India like Kerala, Bihar etc. This report indicates that the demographic balance is deteriorating. Whenever this happens somewhere, it increases the risk of destruction of the original culture and traditions of that nation. When this happens, those whose population increases rapidly gradually establish dominance over the religious-cultural, economic and demographics of that area and capture it. During this period, there is a danger of mutual conflict and discord.
