Madhya Pradesh Police has registered a case against more than 150 people. It is alleged that these people raised slogans against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and called Home Minister Narottam Mishra a terrorist. It is being told that during a demonstration organized in Neemuch, these people have made this remark against the CM and the Home Minister of the state.
It has been informed that a case has been registered against them under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code. A named FIR has been registered against 11 people while a case has been registered against other unknown people. Police said that members of MIC Neemuch protested here against the violence in Khargone on the occasion of Ram Navami.
During this demonstration, these people have also handed over a memorandum to the Superintendent of Police of the district. According to media reports, about 200 members of MIC demonstrated outside the SP office. It is being said that during this demonstration, slogans were raised against CM Shivraj Singh and Narottam Mishra was called a terrorist.
Some videos have gone viral on social media, which is being said that these videos are purportedly of this demonstration and sloganeering. Based on which the police have registered the case. Neemuch SP Suraj Verma has informed the media that various social media platforms are being monitored.
