A senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said on Tuesday that the probe into the incident of an Air Arabia flight making an emergency landing at the Ahmedabad airport has begun. The flight’s pilot-in-command had landed the aircraft safely at the Ahmedabad airport, declaring disaster after one of the engines was shut down and the ECAM alert was activated. The matter pertains to Monday night, while Air Arabia Chittagong (Bangladesh) to Abu Dhabi flight (3L-062) was diverted safely to Ahmedabad after an Airbus A320 (A6-AOT) engine failure, the official said.
