Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In Uttar Pradesh, BJP could not perform as expected in the Lok Sabha elections. In UP, BJP had to be satisfied with only 33 seats out of 80. Different reasons for this are being investigated, in which one reason is also being told to be government job. Let us tell you that while answering a question asked about jobs in the Lok Sabha, the central government had told in July last year that till March 1, 2022, about 9 lakh 64 thousand 359 posts were vacant in the central government. In this, the maximum number of posts were reported to be vacant in the railways. However, at that time Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh had also told that it is being filled in mission mode by the central government.
The issue of jobs dominated the elections
Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav tried to woo the youth by raising the issue of jobs in many of his election rallies. He even said that this government does not want to give jobs to the youth. He accused the government of not wanting to give jobs but rather showing off by releasing recruitment advertisements. Akhilesh also said in election rallies that after the recruitment advertisement, the youth fills the form by investing their hard-earned money, prepares and when they go to give the paper, they come to know that the paper is leaked.
Akhilesh said at many places that there is no job or employment in the BJP government. Lakhs of educated youth are unemployed. Similarly, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was also quite aggressive on the issue of government jobs throughout the elections. Rahul even wrote on his social media handle that BJP means unemployment is certain. Rahul also promised 30 lakh government jobs to attract the youth during his election rallies. Apart from this, he also announced an apprenticeship of Rs 1 lakh after completing college. It is believed that Akhilesh and Rahul repeatedly raising the issue of employment in UP has also had an impact on the youth, which has affected the political equation of BJP.
