Saurabh Verma/ Rae Bareli: When it rains, we get relief from the heat. But the risk of people getting sick increases in the first rain of the monsoon. In such a situation, it is important that people pay special attention to their food habits. So that they can stay away from diseases. Because there are some vegetables available in the rainy season, which should not be eaten even by mistake. Because the vegetables available in this season become infected. Due to which the risk of stomach ache, vomiting, diarrhea or food poisoning also increases. So let’s know from the Ayush Medical Officer which vegetables we should stay away from in the rainy season.
Dr. Akanksha Dixit (MD Ayurveda), Ayush Medical Officer of Raebareli, who has 10 years of experience in the field of AYUSH, said that leafy vegetables and green vegetables available in the rainy season are very harmful for our health. Because during the rainy season some harmful bacteria come on them. Which harms our health.
Do not consume these vegetables
She tells that leafy vegetables like spinach, amaranth, cauliflower, cabbage, radish leaves, brinjal and broccoli should not be consumed during the rainy season. Because they contain very microscopic fungus and bacteria which are not visible during the rainy season. Because they are not exposed to sunlight during this season. Due to which they become more dangerous. That is why these vegetables should not be consumed during the rainy season. Because the bacteria present in them do not die even after cooking.
consume it like this
Talking to Local 18, Ayush Medical Officer Dr. Akanksha Dixit says that while using vegetables in this season, keep in mind that they should be used only after boiling them.
