On the 60th birthday of Asia’s richest businessman Gautam Adani, his family has donated Rs 60,000 crore for social work. The amount donated will be managed by the Adani Foundation.
This donation amount given on the birthday of Adani will be spent on the works of health facilities, education and skill development. Adani himself said this in a conversation with Bloomberg on Thursday. In this conversation, he also said that this is the largest donation ever given to a foundation in the history of corporate companies in India. He also said that with this donation the group has honored his father Shantilal Adani on his birth centenary year.
A release issued by Adani Group on this subject said that health, education and skill development programs need to be promoted in the country in order to make proper use of India’s entire demographic advantage in the development of the country. Due to not working properly in these areas, these factors are becoming a hindrance in the way of self-reliant India.

Azim Premji, chairman of the Azim Premji Foundation, which is known as a big donor in the country for donating Rs 60,000 crore for the welfare of the people on behalf of Adani Group, has described this donation made by Adani Group as great, he has said that it Adani and his family shows his commitment towards the welfare of the people.
Such steps further strengthen the principle of trusteeship of property as suggested by Mahatma Gandhi for the development of the country.
