This big fraud has been done in the name of investing money in the stock market to earn more quickly. The person from Bengaluru who was cheated online is 52 years old and was completely new to the stock market. The cyber criminal gave them a fake and high return investment offer and committed this fraud.
What is the whole matter?
According to the report, the victim had received a WhatsApp message on March 11, which contained a link to an app ‘bys-app.com’. Asked to download the app from this link. The person initially ignored this message, but later he was added to a fake financial group ‘Y-5 Ever Core Financial Leader’, where there were 160 members, yet he kept ignoring it. After not getting any response from the person, scammers started calling him from an unknown number. After repeated calls from scammers, he downloaded the app. After this his troubles started.
After downloading the app, they were given the option of multiple stock-linked accounts with high returns. Falling into the trap of cyber criminals, he transferred the money on April 2. When the person tried to withdraw the money invested in the stock, the scammers refused. After this he felt that he had been cheated. After losing such a huge amount, he lodged an FIR.

- Ignore messages about high profits and gifts etc.
- Report persistent calls from unknown numbers.
