The problem of drugs has become a major problem for countries all over the world. Drug dealers keep trying new tricks to steal drugs every day. A similar new trick was tried by some drug smugglers in the UAE, where drugs were stolen by hiding them in lemons. He used to carry drugs from one place to another by hiding drugs in these plastic lemons. However, the Dubai Police has detained four people in this case. Around 1 billion drugs were taken into custody by the police from all four.
The four people detained by the police have found a drug called Captagon, which is made in Lebanon and Iraq and Syria. Most of these claims are brought by smuggling. According to a news report, the cost of these drugs is about $ 15.8 million i.e. more than $ 1 billion. The police had got information about this by quoting their intelligence sources. About 1160500 bullets hidden in plastic lemons have been seized by Dubai Police. Police said that all this material was being smuggled through a refrigerated container, which contained 3840 cans of lemons. In all these boxes, 66 boxes contained fake lemons and narcotics.
Police also released a video showing a box with Lebanese symbols. Lebanon is often targeted by Gulf countries for not cooperating in the fight against drugs. In April, Saudi Arabia announced it would suspend imports of Lebanese fruits and vegetables after more than 5 million Captagon tablets were found in the fruit.
