Andrey Rublev of Russia has won the title of Dubai Tennis Championships. He defeated qualifier Jiri Wesley 6-3, 6-4 in Saturday’s final. This is Rublev’s second consecutive title win in two weeks.
Meanwhile, in the men’s doubles final, Tim Puetz and Michael Venus defeated Nikola Mektic and Mate Pavich 6-3, 6-7, 16-14 in a match that lasted almost two hours. This is Venus’ second Dubai Championship title. Earlier, he won this title in 2020 with John Pearce. This is the second year in a row that Mektic and Pavich are runners-up.

For the first time in the last four matches, he did not lose a single point in the serve in the first few hours. Rublev lost just two points in the serve in the final. He took a 3-1 lead in the first set and later won the set.
Rublev looked under some pressure in the second set. However, he struggled to take a 1-0 lead. Then took a 4-1 lead. Wesley then came back and won the next two sets to make the score 4-3. However, Rublev showed a great game to win the second set 6-4.
