Alwar . About 21 days ago, a case of murder has come to the fore in the disappearance of a young man lodged in the police station Sadar. The young man was murdered on the day of his disappearance. After the murder, the accused burnt the youth’s body with petrol and threw it in the forest. After disclosing the matter, the accused Paramjit Singh son Pappu Singh Sikh (20) resident Jaisamand Road Liwari police station Sadar has been arrested.
Alwar SP Tejaswani Gautam said that Sitaram Yadav, a resident of Jaisamand Road Liwari, had lodged the missing of his brother-in-law’s son Deepak Kumar resident of Kathumar in the police station Sadar. Deepak Yadav, who was living with him for 10 years, went somewhere on 12 April without informing and did not return. On the report, MPR was registered and search was done.
In search of the youth, Police Officer Sadar Rajesh Sharma raided all the possible places. After obtaining the CDR of the mobile number of the youth, all the suspects were interrogated one by one. When the suspect Paramjit Singh was called and interrogated, the incident came to light. Accused Paramjeet told that on the day of the incident, he called Deepak thrice from 8:00 am to 11:45 am and called him home. That day he was alone at home. When he had a fight with Deepak over an affair with his girlfriend, he killed her by hitting her on the head with a stick.
After the murder, Deepak’s body was put in a sack, wrapped with a sheet, dragged on his bike to the foothills of the hill of Liwari and burnt his body and clothes by pouring petrol. The bones of dead animals were slammed from above.
Burnt remains of the body and clothes of the youth were recovered on the behest of accused youth Paramjeet. Necessary evidence was collected by calling the Forensic Team, Dog Squad and Mobile Investigation Unit on the spot. Accused Paramjeet was arrested on the charge of murder and produced in the court and was taken on remand till May 8. During the remand, the stick used in the murder and the mobile phone of the deceased were recovered.
