According to the company’s announcement, this salary hike will be available to the employees up to band 3. Which will be applicable from 1st September.
Wipro said that the salary of C1 band employees has been increased from June. In which the manager and his above staff are included. According to the company, the average high single digit for offshore employees of this band has been increased. Whereas for onsite employees it is in mid single digit. Apart from this, the company will also give rewards to its top performers in addition to the increased salary.
Wipro said that it will make every effort to retain its employees on its fourth quarter results for the financial year 2021. The company said that in the financial year 2021, 10 thousand freshers have been appointed by the company. Wipro has become the second company in the country to increase the salary twice in a year. Earlier, TCS had also increased the salary of its employees twice in the financial year 2021. The company had given an increase of 12-14 percent to its employees in just 6 months.
