A unique incident was witnessed in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. Here the video of Income Tax Department raiding the house of a liquor trader is becoming quite viral on social media. The reason for the video going viral on social media is that the Income Tax Department team had dried all the notes with a hair dryer and then counted them again. According to detailed information, the Income Tax Department had raided the house of a liquor trader Shankar Rai. During the raid, he put a bag full of his notes in a container of water.
When the Income Tax Department team came there, they took out this bag from a container of water. However, it was very difficult to count and maintain wet notes. Due to this, the Income Tax Department team used a hair dryer used in the Rai family’s house to dry the notes. The raid, which started at 6 in the morning, ended at 9 in the night. Raids were conducted at more than ten places of Rai family by teams from different places in the state. The entire operation was led by Jabalpur Joint Commissioner Munmun Sharma.

The Income Tax Department had received eight crore cash and three kilograms of gold from the same family. However, during this time Shankar had done this trick. After the completion of all the proceedings, the Joint Commissioner said that all the raids by him have been completed. However, to verify the veracity of the documents which they have received, they will be called to Bhopal. All benami properties will be auctioned after the proceedings are completed.
