Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited today launched its new electric 3-wheeler e-Alpha Cargo in India.
The price of this e-alpha cargo has been fixed at 1.44 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. According to the company, an e-Alpha cargo is capable of saving up to Rs 60,000 per year in fuel cost as compared to a diesel cargo 3-wheeler.
The e-Alpha Cargo comes with a fully digital instrument cluster, which gives information like Status of Charge (SOC), range, speed, while customers looking to buy it can buy it from around 300 outlets. Suman Mishra, CEO, Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd. said, “With the better adoption of electric three-wheelers in the last mile delivery segment, we are now launching the E Alpha Cargo e-Cart in response to customer requirements in this segment. Huh. Which is pollution free with a saving of 60 0000.00 as compared to Diesel Cargo on 3-wheeler.
It comes with a maximum power of 1.5 kW in Alfa Cargo, and is capable of delivering a top speed of 25 km/h. The company said that it is as easy as charging a mobile phone with an off-board 48V/15A charger. Let us tell you, Mahindra Electric Mobility is a subsidiary of auto major Mahindra & Mahindra. This model comes with a payload of 310 kg, and can cover a distance of 80 km on a single charge.
