New Delhi. A 14-year-old girl killed her elder brother with an ax after he allegedly scolded her for using a mobile phone in Chhattisgarh’s Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai (KCG) district. Police officials gave this information on Saturday. Police officials said that after this incident which took place in Amlidihkala village of Chhuikhadan police station area, the police took the girl into custody on Saturday.
He said that the accused girl told the police that she was at home with her brother Devprasad Verma (18). When other family members had gone to work, Devprasad scolded her and said that she talks to boys on mobile phone. Police officials said that Devprasad asked him not to use the mobile phone.

He told that when Devprasad was sleeping, the girl allegedly attacked her brother with an axe. Due to which he died on the spot. Officials said that after the incident, the girl went to take a bath and cleaned the blood stains on her clothes, later she told the neighbors that her brother had been murdered. He said that after being informed by the villagers, a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The girl was interrogated and during this she confessed to the crime.
During the investigation by the police, suspicion was repeatedly falling on the younger sister. Apart from forensics, the police had also taken the help of cyber team and dog squad to solve the case. Finally the girl confessed her crime on Saturday. He was first produced before the Juvenile Court, after which he has been sent to judicial custody.
