Imam gave all his wealth in the name of elephant
There is no dearth of people in India who serve elephants and have special love for them. Imam Akhtar of Ramnagar, Nainital was also such a person. He used to worry about who would take care of the pet elephant Moti after him. In such a situation, he donated his lifetime earnings for the protection of elephants. One day he lost his life because of his love for the elephant. He was a resident of Danapur, Bihar. In 2009, he bought an elephant. Named Moti and for her care, property worth 5 crores was given to Airavat Sanstha. In 2020, he came to Ramnagar with Moti. Taking 26 bighas of land on lease, he started rearing Moti and a local elephant queen. Two years ago, he had also included the queen in his will. However, he was shot dead in 2021 in Patna. Now Imran Khan is taking care of Moti.
