New Delhi. Elon Musk, the world’s richest man and owner of Tesla company, recently bought the micro-blogging site Twitter. Musk had been in the limelight ever since he established his authority in Twitter. Musk was tweeting one after the other on which there was a ruckus. Now meanwhile, once again Elon Musk is seen to be embroiled in controversies. The latest dispute is taking place between Musk-owned Twitter and the App Store. Musk has made a serious allegation that Apple has threatened to remove Twitter from its platform.
On Monday, the owner of the Twitter company, Elon Musk, gave information in a series of tweets that he has been threatened by the Apple company. Accusing the Apple company, Musk said that he is getting threats from Apple that he will block Twitter from the iPhone’s App Store. Next, Musk said that now iPhone ads have stopped coming on Twitter. Musk has also questioned Apple about why he is doing this, but so far nothing has been said about it from the company (Apple).
Musk, who has been showering allegations on Twitter, says that Apple is creating pressure in the name of content moderation. If Apple removes Twitter from its store, it will not be unusual because in the past too many companies have been pressured by Apple to follow its rules. Musk cited the names of social media platforms like Gab and Parlour, saying that Apple did the same with them. However, in the year 2021, when the parlor app accepted Apple’s conditions regarding content moderation, then again Apple restored it (parlor app) to its Play Store. Well, now it has to be seen how hot this matter will get in the coming days…
