Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that verification of non-Hindu people will be done before going on Chardham Yatra. However, he has not named any particular religion. Dhami said that during the Chardham Yatra, all the pilgrims coming to the state from neighboring states including UP, Delhi will also be verified.
He said that strictest steps would be taken by making a concrete strategy to maintain peace and security in the state. He said that every effort would be made to save the religious culture of the state. Let us tell you that Dharmacharya Swami Anand Swarup had sent a letter to the Chief Minister’s Office demanding that the entry of non-Hindus in Chardham including Kendarnath, Badrinath should be stopped.
If the Uttarakhand government does not take any decision on this, then they themselves will get the verification done so that the entry of non-Hindus can be stopped in religious places. It was said in the letter that the entry of non-Hindus should be prohibited in Hindu pilgrimage places, especially the Char Dham. Verification of all should start to save the religious culture of Uttarakhand.
Let us tell you that the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham are opening on 03rd May. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on May 06 and the doors of Badrinath Dham will be opened for devotees on May 8. Before the start of the yatra, preparations are being made by the government and the administration on a war footing.
