Rampur / Anju Prajapati: Often the elders of the house keep warning the children about excessive use of the phone. Experts also keep advising to avoid excessive use of the phone. But, smartphone has become a part of life nowadays. Being constantly active on the mobile is having a bad effect on the body. Apart from this, excessive use of mobile, laptop and computer is making people suffer from cervical and eye pain.
Diseases caused by mobile addiction are becoming an epidemic. One of them is cervical pain. Earlier, cervical problems were seen in people above 50 years of age. However, after the change in today’s lifestyle, it is also being seen in youth and children.
Cervical and eye problems
According to CMO Dr. Dashrath Singh, who has been posted in District Hospital Rampur for 6 years, eye weakness and cervical problems are increasing rapidly in people who spend more time on mobile, laptop and computer. More than 10 patients of cervical are coming to the district hospital every day. Some people are using the phone for important work, while some are using it to pass time. While giving advice, he said that use of mobile should be reduced as much as possible.
Ways to avoid it
According to Dr. Dashrath Singh, he has been working in the district hospital for about 6 years. He says that this problem occurs due to working in the wrong position on laptop and computer for a long time. Due to this, there is pressure on the spine. In such a situation, dizziness, headache and numbness in hands and feet develop. To avoid cervical disease, get up and walk for some time after working for an hour on laptop, mobile and computer. By doing this, the cervical problem will decrease and splash fresh cold water on the eyes. This will not cause fatigue in the eyes. Along with this, the level of the computer and your sitting place should be equal. While using the computer and laptop, it should not be kept at a very high or low place. This does not pose the risk of back pain.
