WhatsApp is adding new functionality to its Disappearing Message feature. Which will allow users to set a message in the chat that will be automatically deleted after a certain period of time. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced this on Facebook. WhatsApp users will now have the option to enable automatic disappearing messages for all their new one-on-one chats, so that all future messages will be automatically deleted from the service.
The meta-owned messaging service also said it gives users more options about how long ago a message was deleted. When this feature was first launched in November last year, users only had the option to make the message disappear after seven days. However, going forward, there will be an option to remove it only after 24 hours or 90 days. Apart from this, WhatsApp users will now have the option to turn on the Disappearing Message feature by default for all new chats.

- Then search for the contact for which this feature has to be activated.
- After that go to the contact’s profile.
- Click on the Disappearing Message option given below.
- After turning on the feature, choose any one option from 24 hours, 7 days, 90 days.
