New Delhi. Senior Congress leader and External Affairs Minister in the UPA government, Salman Khurshid, on Tuesday spread fake news through his Twitter handle. In the tweet, he put 4 photos and claimed that houses are being demolished by bulldozers like this in Unnao and Farrukhabad in UP. Salman Khurshid wrote in his tweet, ‘Not Ukraine, these are pictures of Unnao and Farrukhabad in bulldozerland.’ By writing Bulldozerland, Salman Khurshid targeted the Yogi Adityanath government of UP. The reason for this is that on the instructions of CM Yogi, bulldozers are run on illegal occupation and property of criminals and people have started calling him Bulldozer Baba.
On his tweet containing this fake photo, Salman Khurshid came under the target of users on social media. Many people sent him screenshots of old news clips and told that these photos are of 2016 action during Akhilesh Yadav’s government. People took a jibe at Salman Khurshid in other ways as well. The special thing is that Salman Khurshid did not even delete his tweet till the time of writing the news after people told that the pictures are old. Even before this, Salman Khurshid has been in controversy due to his many statements.
Salman Khurshid had created controversy by writing some things in his book on Ayodhya. In this book titled ‘Sunrise over Ayodhya’, Salman Khurshid compared Hindutva with terrorist organizations ISIS and Boko Haram. After which some people also set fire to his house in Nainital, Uttarakhand. A case of embezzlement of government money is also going on against Salman Khurshid and his wife Louis. Whereas, on the Batla House encounter in Delhi, Salman Khurshid had said that Sonia Gandhi wept over that incident. However, you can see below how people have reprimanded Salman Khurshid for spreading fake news…
