Jaipur . The Bharatiya Kisan Sangh has called for a sit-in demonstration on May 6 to connect Jaipur district with the Eastern Canal Project. This came to the fore in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Ram Niwas Pancholi, Tehsil President of the Indian Farmers Association. Divisional Publicity Head Dr. Lokesh Kumar Chandel informed that in the meeting, it has been unanimously decided to participate in a sit-in demonstration in Jaipur on May 6 to connect Jaipur district with the Eastern Canal. District Cooperative Chief Bajrang Lal Sharma said that the demand for putting water of Eastern Canal Project in Bassi tehsil of Patan dam, lean dam, Ramsar dam, Shyampura dam, Chitauri dam would be raised.
In the meeting, first of all, Divisional Marketing Chief Babulal Sharma gave information about the foundation day of the Indian Farmers Association and made an action plan to get maximum people to participate in the protest demonstration. Bassi Tehsil President Ramniwas Pancholi, Divisional Publicity Head Dr. Lokesh Kumar Chandel, Divisional Marketing Head Babulal Sharma, District Cooperative Chief Bajrang Lal Sharma, Tehsil Minister Ramkesh Meena, Tehsil Organization Minister Nand Singh Kundanpur, Tehsil Executive Member Hari Narayan Pancholi, Rajpura Village committee president Narayan Sahai Sharma etc. were present.
