A stepfather finally got justice in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The court has acquitted the stepfather who was in jail for 13 months on charges of raping his daughter. The court said that the accused had given a statement against the stepfather of the deceased to save themselves. The court has directed to take action against the policemen who were negligent in the investigation of the case. Also asked to re -investigate the case.
The case is 7 years old. On 14 June 2018, a 17 -year -old minor girl living in Ayodhya Nagar police station area of Bhopal committed suicide. The post -mortem report of the deceased confirmed that he was gang -raped. During this time, a slip of four people was also found from his pocket. Mahendra Singh Kulhara, the then in -charge of Ayodhya Nagar police station, registered an FIR on 20 May 2019 and arrested the father on 9 November 2019 instead of taking action on those youths. In this case, he stayed in jail for about 13 months.
Whereas during the post -mortem of the minor, a slip was found in his clothes in which four people wrote the names and mobile numbers of Bodni, Mubin, Raju and Yadav. The DNA report also confirmed gang rape of four people. Even after receiving the form, the police did not make him an accused and based on the statement of the neighbors, the stepfather was made the accused. The police said in the challan presented in the court that the stepfather has been accused on the basis of the statement of the neighbors. At the same time, the court has said in the judgment that the accused had made statements against the father to save themselves.
Court ordered DGP
Rebuding the police, the court said- 3-4 days before the incident, the innocent was at the house of these witnesses, she returned home from there before committing suicide. It is possible that the witness is making false accusations against the father to save himself. Special Judge (Poxo) Kumudini Patel acquitted the half -father of the deceased while delivering the verdict. At the same time, the DGP has been ordered to take action against TI and re -investigate the case for negligence in a serious case.
