Fine on Municipal Commissioner: Gwalior (Naiduniya Representative). The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission issued a bailable arrest warrant of five thousand rupees to Municipal Commissioner Kishore Kanyal. On which the Municipal Commissioner has issued notices to Additional Commissioner PHE Mukul Gupta, Superintending Engineer RLS Maurya and Executive Engineer Sanjay Solanki. It has been told in the notice that the letter from Human Rights was sent to him on January 10 for action, but no action was taken on it. Also, the municipal commissioner was not informed about this. The notice has sought an explanation within three days. Along with this, an amount of five thousand rupees has also been warned to be deducted from the salary of all three.
Vimal Jain, resident of Paras Aquatech Bhojpur Tower Gulmohar Colony, Bhopal, complained to the Human Officers Commission. It was told in the complaint that the amount due to his firm Paras Aquatech, one crore 12 lakh 22 thousand 240 rupees is not being paid by the Commissioner’s office, Municipal Corporation Gwalior. Also, 1506 bills are not being received after work. According to the 517 bills that have been received, the department has approved only 32 lakh 89 thousand 938 rupees of those bills. The applicant stated that he has a lot of debt. He was doing a private job in Bhopal, he also lost that job. He has to marry his daughter. So the payment should be made as soon as possible. The Human Rights Commission sent several reminder letters to the Municipal Commissioner in this case, but there was no response from their side. After this, the Municipal Commissioner Kishor Kanyal was issued a nominated notice and asked to report by 11 February 2022, otherwise appear before the commission on 11 February 2022. He also got this nominated notice, but neither the report was given by him nor he appeared before the commission. Due to this, a fine of five thousand rupees has been imposed for not appearing in person before the commission. Along with this, it has been directed to appear before the commission on 16 May. Even after receiving this notice of the Human Rights Commission at the Municipal Corporation headquarters, no action was taken on it. Due to this, a fine of five thousand rupees and a bailable arrest warrant has been issued on the Municipal Commissioner. Due to this negligence, on Friday, the Municipal Commissioner has issued notices to Additional Commissioner Mukul Gupta, Superintending Engineer RLS Maurya and Executive Engineer Sanjay Solanki.
