The FIR states that before the namaz started, some people were gathering on the road to offer namaz. These people were removed from there by the police after explaining that they were not offering Namaz on the road. But as soon as it was time for Namaz at 7.45, suddenly a large number of people surrounded the entire road and started sitting there and offering Namaz. The video of Namazis offering Namaz on the road is also going viral. When an attempt was made to remove the Namazis from there, they started raising slogans against the administration. Police say that the Namazis will be identified through video and action will be taken against them.
Let us tell you that the administration had explained to the people before Eid that Namaz should not be offered on the road, despite this the crowd of worshipers arbitrarily surrounded the road and offered Namaz. In this regard, Hindu Vadi Sangathan of Meerut had also raised its voice and appealed to the administration to take action in this matter. Hindu leader Sachin Sirohi has also sent a complaint to CM Yogi Adityanath regarding this entire matter. Sachin Sirohi said that prayers were offered on the road in the presence of police and administration. There should be action on this. He said that it is a very unfortunate situation that even after being explained in advance, the namazis showed their will and offered namaz by encircling the road.
