Paris: Five migrants, including a child, have died while trying to cross the dangerous English Channel from northern France. French media has given information about this. The news published in the Voix du Nord newspaper said that the bodies of five migrants were recovered on Tuesday on Vimeraux beach in northern France. According to the newspaper, the rescue operation is going on at the spot and the services of boat and helicopter are being taken for this. It was reported in the newspaper that about 100 migrants have been rescued safely in this accident. They will be taken to the port of Boulogne via a French Navy ship. The incident came just hours after the British Parliament approved British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s decision to deport some illegal immigrants to Rwanda. Human rights groups have described this law as inhumane and cruel.
UK government should consider the decision
The British government plans to deport refugees who enter the country illegally on small boats. These migrants come to Britain illegally, risking their lives. The Human Rights Commission has described this law as inhuman and cruel. The UN refugee agency and the Council of Europe both called on the UK government on Tuesday to reconsider its decision as they believe it could hamper international cooperation in tackling the global migration crisis.
