New Delhi. Former President Ram Nath Kovind was born today i.e. on 1 October 1945 in Paraunkh village in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. President Kovind has turned 77. Kovind was sworn in as the 14th President of India on 25 July 2017 after Pranab Mukherjee, the 13th President of India. Kovind is an Indian politician who has served as the President of the country. Former President Ram Nath Kovind worked for Scheduled Castes, Tribes and Women in his student life. Kovind’s education
After taking the degree of advocate Kovind, he started practicing in the Delhi High Court. He has done B.Com and LLB from Kanpur University. He was a Central Government Advocate in the Delhi High Court from 1977 to 1989. It is said that when he was a lawyer, he used to fight free legal battles for poor Dalits. The process of helping the financially troubled people did not stop even after becoming the President, even after that, Kovind used to help the people with the same devotion. Even when Ram Nath Kovind was holding the post of President, he used to keep an eye on every lower strata.
36th Governor of Bihar
Ram Nath Kovind married Savita Kovind on 30 May 1974. Kovind has two children, a son Prashant and a daughter Swati. Ram Nath Kovind was the 36th Governor of Bihar before becoming the President of India. Apart from this, Kovind was also a member of the Standing Council of the Central Government from 1980 to 1993. Former President Ram Nath Kovind appeared as a Dalit leader of BJP from Uttar Pradesh and was also a member of Rajya Sabha twice.
