Bilawal said, “Today I ask the world, can any country be allowed to go back on its commitments to the United Nations, break its promises and openly violate international law?” “Commitments under UN Security Council resolutions are sacred. Neither any chauvinist political party can keep watch on them nor can they become weak with the passage of time.
Told G-20 meetings ‘proof of arrogance’
India is holding G-20 Tourism Working Group meetings in Jammu and Kashmir. Bilawal said, “By hosting this event, India is ‘misusing’ its position as the G-20 chair. This is yet another display of India’s arrogance on the global stage. The Pak Foreign Minister made baseless allegations against the Indian Government of atrocities on Kashmiri Muslims in Jammu and Kashmir and openly spewed venom. He appealed to the international community to urge India to restore the special status of Kashmir which was abrogated on 5 August 2019.
Jaishankar’s befitting reply to Bilawal
Recently Bilawal Bhutto had come to India to participate in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. This was the first visit to India by a Pakistani foreign minister in 12 years. In India, he repeatedly sang the same old Kashmir tune at different forums. In response, Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had termed him as a ‘spokesman for terrorism’. He said, ‘He (Bilawal Bhutto) has nothing to do with the G-20. They have nothing to do with Srinagar and Kashmir either. They should tell when they are vacating the illegally occupied areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
