New Delhi. The style of Gadkari, who is handling the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in Modi Government 2.0, is quite unique. Whenever he says something, there are definitely some such things in it that will touch your heart. Once again Gadkari is in discussion about one of his works. Let us tell you, the reason for Nitin Gadkari being in the discussion this time is his decision. They have started traffic on a highway without opening the way for the people. It usually happens that whenever a new road or highway is built, first the concerned minister or any other dignitary formally breaks the coconut. In many places, the opening is done by cutting the lace. Only then do vehicles run on them, but on the orders of Union Minister Gadkari, the highway was opened to the public in view of the uncertainty surrounding the inauguration of the 22 km long six-lane Sohna Highway. Now in such a situation, it will be easy for people to come and go till the southern end of Gurugram. People have got free road for this.
Traveling by people on the highway will be a kind of trial run until the formal inauguration is done. In such a situation, the car drivers can come to sleep without any problem in 20 minutes at a high speed. Let us inform that Gadkari was about to inaugurate the highway yesterday i.e. on Monday but the program was postponed. When the inauguration program stopped, it was believed that now the journey on the highway would have to wait, but Gadkari asked the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to open the road for trials without waiting for the date of the formal inauguration. Gadkari himself posted about Sohna Highway on Twitter. In which he wrote, ‘NHAI has opened the package-1 of the road from Rajiv Chowk to Badshahpur 8.9 km. The second section Package-2 (Badshahpur to Sohna) was opened on April 1. The elevated corridor is of 7 km and it is in different parts, the longest is 4 km in Gurgaon from where the highway starts.

We don’t want people to be denied benefits
Gadkari told a newspaper that the road would be formally inaugurated in this month. “The Sohna National Highway (including the elevated part) has been opened for trial run keeping in view the convenience of the people,” he said. The formal inauguration will take place on 19 July. We don’t want people to be deprived of the benefits of the official inauguration even after the completion of the project.
Why was the inauguration not done, Gadkari told
Regarding the non-inauguration, Gadkari said that it was to be held on Monday but it was postponed because Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala are abroad. “Since the road has been built for the public, we have decided to start the trial run,” Gadkari said.
what is its specialty
Actually Sohna Elevated Road is part of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. This road built in 2,000 crores will work to reduce the distance between Gurugram and Sohna. Now with the construction of this 22 km highway, people will get relief from jam in areas like Vatika Chowk. Right now it takes about an hour to cover such a distance, but now it will take only 15-18 minutes. People going from Delhi will also have the advantage that they will not only reach South Gurugram quickly but it will also be easy to reach Alwar (Rajasthan).
