After the worship, Garba dance was performed by the women at various places.
Matrimonial programs were started from 21st February Ganesh Puja at Shri Mankameshwar Mahadev Temple. As part of the programs, along with Haldi, Mehndi, women’s music is being organized every day. Made-up songs are also being included in women’s music. Women are more enthusiastic about the marriage of Lord Shankar and Mother Parvati. For the past two years ceremonial programs were being organized in temples due to the infection. Due to less infection this year, matrimonial programs are being organized.

On Sunday morning at 9 o’clock, a moving ceremony of Mataji Puja was taken out from Shri Mankameshwar temple with bandwagoners. The running ceremony started from the temple and reached Sheetla Mata. Here Mataji was worshipped. After this, the procession reached the temple again via Rajwada, Main Bazaar, Thandla Gate, Laxmibai Marg of the city. During the procession, women performed Garba dance from place to place. Religious songs continued to resonate on the bands as well. Bands were being played ahead in the procession. Men and women were walking behind him. The idols of Lord Shankar and Mother Parvati were placed on a special vehicle. The procession was also welcomed everywhere.
Bhole baba will come out with a grace
The bridegroom will be taken out from the temple at five o’clock in the evening. There will be a special makeup of Baba Bholenath in the procession. A procession will come out across the city with band-baazs. Toran program will be held at 7:30 pm. There will be an auspicious marriage at dusk. After that there will be a program of Kanyadan and rounds. Devotees will participate enthusiastically in the procession.
The festival will also be celebrated in Kushalpura
Jhabua. Mahashivratri festival will be celebrated with pomp on Tuesday in the Shiva temple of village Kushalpura. The preparations for the program have been almost completed by the devotees of Shiv. Mohan Damor, Pedia Bhai, Babu Bhai etc. of the village told that a meeting of villagers has been organized to celebrate Shivratri festival. This year there is more enthusiasm among the villagers. Special Abhishek will be done to Lord Bholenath on Tuesday. Aarti will be held at 4 pm. After that fruit khichdi will be distributed. There will be a round of special worship and worship throughout the day. Bhajan-Kirtan will be done in the night.
