New Delhi. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey’s big statement has come amid the ongoing dispute over LAC with China. General Manoj Pandey has said that the army is fully prepared to deal with any situation. The army chief has also said that the northern border of the country ie LAC is under control. He has said that continuous talks are on with China. Talks are going on at the military and diplomatic level with the neighboring country. This statement of the army chief is special in the sense that all opposition leaders including Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi are accusing the Modi government of bowing down to China. These leaders claim that China has occupied many places in Indian territory in the past.
PM Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had also responded every time to every allegation of the opposition. Modi and Rajnath had clearly said that not a single Chinese soldier is in Indian territory. Modi had also said that no one has entered and no one will be able to enter. Yet leaders like Rahul and Owaisi keep on besieging Modi. There was a clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers near Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh. There have been conflicts between the two sides many times before. A video of this had surfaced. In which Indian soldiers were chasing away Chinese soldiers by beating them. Nevertheless, Rahul Gandhi had given a statement that Indian soldiers are being beaten by China.
The situation is clear from the latest statement of the Army Chief that there has been no fresh retaliation from the Chinese side. If he tries to infiltrate in any way, then the Indian Army is ready to give a befitting reply to him. According to sources, troops and weapons have been deployed everywhere along the LAC from eastern Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh. These include cannons, tanks, missiles and fighter aircraft.
