The Narendra Modi-led central government had launched a new bovine centric scheme in February 2018, with an aim to increase the income of Indian farmers and provide them with doubling renewable energy. It was established as an extension of India’s cleanliness drive. The Swachh Bharat Mission was focusing on generating electricity from animal manure to keep villages clean, providing economic power to rural households. The Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan (GOBAR-DHAN) initiative aims to boost farmers’ income by converting biodegradable waste into Compressed Biogas (CBG). It also aims to attract entrepreneurs to set up community based CBG facilities in rural areas. Cow is revered in India. He is highly respected in India. Under this scheme, cattle dung and domestic waste, which produces combustible methane gas and an organic residue, which is quite useful. This dung will also be used to power the city’s public transport system. Plant owner Nitesh Kumar Tripathi said, “Half of the buses will be run by Indore, and the remaining half will be given to industrial customers.”
