Gold prices on Friday rose by Rs 416 to Rs 50,802 per 10 grams in the national capital Delhi. The precious yellow metal had closed at Rs 50,386 per 10 grams on the previous trading day. Along with gold, silver also rose by Rs 1,014 to Rs 61,343 per kg from Rs 60,329 per kg in the previous trade.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said spot gold prices for 24 carat gold rose in Delhi, reflecting overnight rise in Comex gold prices. In the international market, gold was trading flat at $ 1,850 an ounce and silver at $ 21.90 an ounce.
