Gold prices rose marginally by Rs 3 to Rs 50,304 per 10 grams in the national capital in line with the rise in international prices of the precious metal. Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 50,301 per 10 grams in the previous trading day. Silver also rose by Rs 304 to Rs 60,016 per kg from Rs 59,712 per kg in the previous trade.
In the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,820 an ounce and silver was flat at $ 21.35 an ounce. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said that on Wednesday, with the strength of gold prices in Comex, traded at $ 1,820 an ounce on Wednesday.
