In line with the improvement in global prices, gold on Thursday rose by Rs 21 to Rs 50,602 per 10 grams on the fourth trading day of the week in the national capital. Due to this, the precious yellow metal had closed at Rs 50,581 per 10 grams in the previous trading session.
Along with gold, silver also rose by Rs 37 to Rs 60,525 per kg from Rs 60,488 per kg in the previous trading day. In the international market, both gold and silver were trading flat at USD 1,833 an ounce and USD 21.58 an ounce, respectively. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said that the spot price of gold was trading at $ 1,833 an ounce in Comex on Thursday.
