Google Messages Will be upgraded and users will start getting some features of WhatsApp. Google has decided to improve the image sharing feature of this messaging app of Android smartphones. Users will now be able to share multiple images at once through its RCS i.e. Rich Communication Service. Also, users will be able to add multiple photos by clicking them from the phone’s camera without leaving the Messages app.
Currently, users can send only one image at a time in Google’s messaging platform. If someone wants to share multiple photos at once through Google Messages, the user has to open the messaging app several times. Tipster has shared a screenshot about this upcoming feature of Google Messages, in which it can be seen that there is an option to add multiple images simultaneously in the message.
Android users share photos or videos with someone through third party instant messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram instead of Google Messages. In these apps, users are able to share many photos or videos at once, due to which they find convenience. By getting this feature in Google Messages also, users’ dependence on third party apps will be reduced and they will be able to share photos with any Android user through the default messaging app only.
In-app camera feature will be improved
The in-app camera feature in Google Messages will also be improved in the coming days. Users will now be able to share multiple photos simultaneously through SMS using the in-app camera. Not only this, users will also be able to share selfies or record videos from the front camera of their smartphone or Android device. Currently, users will have options to edit, download and attach images on the preview screen when using the in-app camera. Users have to tap on the three dots given.
