Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL make a grand entry
Google has launched its Pixel 9 series globally. Google has launched three smartphones Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL in this new series, which are equipped with Gemini AI features. The latest generation Tensor G4 processor is available in this new series of Google. Also, the phone has up to 16GB of RAM and powerful features. You will not find many features of this series even in iPhone.
Price of Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL
Google has launched Pixel 9 in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The price of this phone is Rs 79,999. This phone has been launched at the launch price of iPhone 15. It can be purchased in four color options – Peony, Porcelain, Obsidian and Wintergreen. The 128GB storage variant of this phone has not been launched in the Indian market.
Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL have been launched in 16GB RAM + 256GB variants. The price of Pixel 9 Pro is Rs 1,09,999. At the same time, the price of Pixel 9 Pro XL is Rs 1,24,999. Both these Pro models also come in four color options – Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz and Obsidian.
Google Pixel 9 series will be made available for sale in India through e-commerce website Flipkart as well as Croma and Reliance Digital. Pre-booking of the phone will start from tomorrow i.e. August 14 and its sale will start on August 22.
Google Pixel 9 series display
Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have a 6.3-inch display. At the same time, Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch display. All three of these Google phones come with OLED LTPO display. Its standard model has Actua display, which supports peak brightness feature up to 2700 nits. At the same time, both Pro models have Super Actua display, which supports peak brightness feature up to 3,000 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 is available for protection of the screen of these three phones.
Google Pixel 9 series processor
This premium smartphone series from Google comes with Tensor G4 chipset. It supports up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. This series from Google comes with features based on Gemini AI. It has features like Magic Eraser, Best Take, Photo Unblur and Night Sight.
All models of the Pixel 9 series come with IP68 water and dust proof rating. These have features like in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock. Google has launched this phone with Android 14 operating system. Soon, the phone will get an update of Android 15. For connectivity, features like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Google Cast, GPS are available in the phone.
Google Pixel 9 series battery
Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have a 4,700mAh battery. At the same time, Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 5,060mAh battery. All three phones support 45W wired fast charging and Qi wireless charging feature.
Google Pixel 9 series camera
Pixel 9 has a dual camera setup in the back. The phone has a 50MP wide angle primary camera, which supports 8x super resolution zoom. Along with this, a 48MP main ultra wide camera will be available. For selfie and video calling, the phone will have a 10.5MP dual pixel front camera.
Triple camera setup is available in the back of Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The phone will have 50MP wide angle, 48MP ultra wide and 48MP telephoto camera. It has support for 30x super resolution zoom. Both these phones have a 42MP camera for selfie and video calling.
