Gorakhpur. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is continuously carving out the possibilities of industrial development in Gorakhpur Industrial Development Authority (GIDA), is coming to give the gift of development. On Sunday, at 10:30 am, CM Yogi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 143 crore in Gida, while handing over a letter of allotment of 45.5 acres of land to six new investors. Earlier on Saturday, Chief Minister Mahant Digvijay Nath would inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for development projects worth more than Rs 144 crore during the function organized at Memorial Park.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Gorakhpur on Saturday. CM will inaugurate 40 projects of Rural Engineering Department and Gorakhpur Development Authority costing Rs 33.16 crore during the program organized at Mahant Digvijaynath Memorial Park located in Ramgarhtal area at 3:30 pm on the same day. He will also lay the foundation stone of 21 projects of Housing Development Council, Barh Khand and Public Works Department costing Rs 111.33 crore. Most of the projects that have been laid at the hands of the Chief Minister are related to flood prevention measures. Along with this, CM Yogi will also lay the foundation stone for the construction of Kasturba Gandhi Girls Hostel in Gola (costing Rs. 2 crore 16 lakh 55 thousand) and auditorium at Government ITI Chargaon (cost Rs. 4 crore 52 lakh).
On the second day of Gorakhpur tour, on Sunday also, the process of getting the gift of development from the hands of CM Yogi will continue. The Chief Minister will hand over land allotment letters to the entrepreneurs to pave the way for investment in GIDA. Along with this, he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for many development works related to infrastructure in Gida area. 20 acres to Keyan Distillery Pvt Ltd., 5.5 acres to Tattva Plastics Pvt Ltd., CP Milk and Food Products Pvt Ltd., Quartz Opalware Pvt Ltd., Aditya Motor Pvt Ltd. and 5-5 acres to Buddha Medical Trust, which have expressed their willingness to set up industries in Gida. The distribution of land allotment letter will be done in the hands of CM Yogi.
A total investment of Rs 1005 crore is proposed by these new investors. Through this, about 2700 new jobs will be created. On the initiative of Yogi government, a garment cluster of 101 plots is being developed on 25 acres of land in Bhiti Rawat Sector 26 of Gida. In this, allotment letters of 56 plots have been issued. It is expected that five entrepreneurs of the Garment Cluster will get the allotment letter on the CM’s platform. During this, CM will also inaugurate projects costing Rs 67.86 crore and lay foundation stones for projects worth Rs 75.83 crore for infrastructure development in different sectors of Gida.
