Mahant Suresh Das of Digambar Akhara (Ayodhya) said that due to the uniqueness and greatness of culture, India is called Jagatguru and since the beginning of creation, cow service is an integral part of this unique Indian culture. The gods also yearn to take birth on this land of India, full of the glory of the cow. Indian culture cannot be complete without cow service. Mahant Sureshdas was addressing a seminar on ‘Indian culture and cow service’ on Monday as part of the weekly tribute ceremony organized to commemorate the 53rd death anniversary of Yugpurush Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj and the 8th death anniversary of Rashtrasant Brahmalin Mahant Avadyanath Ji Maharaj. He said that India is a land of virtuous rivers like Ganga, Jamuna and Saraswati. Ayodhya is the country of Mokshapuris like Vrindavan, Mathura, Kashi. More than this, it is the land of God worshiped, God worshiped and all worshiped cow mother. That is why all the incarnations of God also take place in India.
He said that since time immemorial, cows are the basis of Indian culture. Not only from religious and spiritual point of view, but the importance of cow is very important from economic point of view. Every product obtained from cow is like life for us. Today the whole world is turning towards natural farming and natural farming cannot happen without the use of cow dung and urine obtained from the cow. Mahant Sureshdas said that Gorakshapeeth has an incomparable and indescribable contribution in the preservation and promotion of Indian culture through cow protection and cow service. Following the ideals of Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath, Brahmalin Mahant Avadyanath, the cow service of the present Peethadheeshwar and the Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath, is exemplary for the people.

In the seminar, Mahant Lal Nath of Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh said that with the inspiration of cow service from Gorakshpeeth, he also runs a cowshed in the temple of Neemuch. He said that a lot of work is being done in the field of cow service and cow protection in Uttar Pradesh after Gorakshpeethadhishwar Yogi Adityanath, who gave importance to cow service, became the Chief Minister. Once again cow mother is being considered as the basis of economic prosperity. Mahant Surendranath of Kalika Mandir (New Delhi) said that cow is called mother because we consume her milk throughout life. He said that every product obtained from cow is priceless. For example, many medicines are made from cow urine and it is also the most accurate and safe insecticide. Mahant Narayan Giri of Dudheshwarnath Temple, Ghaziabad said that it is possible to cure many diseases with Panchagavya obtained from cow. Mahant Gangadas of Baroda, Gujarat said that we say that 33 crores reside in the cow but sometimes they run to kill the cow. We also have to have faith according to our beliefs. Mahant Shivnath from Cuttack, Odisha said that cow is one of the 16 major pillars of Indian culture. Lord Shri Krishna himself used to serve the cow, so he got a name Gopal. Yogi Kamalchandra Nath, who came from Sringeri Math, Karnataka, freely appreciated the efforts of Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the context of Indian culture and cow service. On this occasion, former Livestock Development Officer and Gosevak Varun Kumar Verma ‘Vairagi’ made a poetic presentation on Gau Mahima.

MP Ravi Kishan Shukla, who reached the seminar, said that today Sanatan culture is getting respect all over the world and cow mother is a power of our culture.
