Jaipur . This year May is being observed as Abdominal Cancer Month and various activities have been organized under the aegis of ‘Abdominal Cancer Trust’ and IIEMR to raise awareness about abdominal cancer among the general public.
The Governor of Rajasthan, Kalraj Mishra along with Dr. Sandeep Jain, Mukesh Mishra and Advocate Kamlesh Sharma unveiled the Abdominal Cancer Day poster at Raj Bhavan. Director, IIMR, Mukesh Mishra informed that in the series of events that will take place during the month, the Walking Festival will start with the Jaipur Super Walker Awards on 14th May to felicitate those who inspire or motivate themselves to keep themselves healthy. On May 15, the Heritage Cultural Walk will start from Jalebi Chowk in Jaipur and will return to Jalebi Chowk via Heritage Route, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Aatish Market, Hawa Mahal. Abdominal Cancer Day will be celebrated on May 19, with ‘Awareness is Power’ talk show and May 22. ABCD Health Camp.
