Varanasi. The grand Dev Deepawali was celebrated on Monday evening in Kashi, the city of Shiva. With the sunset, lakhs of lamps lit on the banks of the Uttara Vahini Ganga spread a supernatural shade. About eight kilometers long, the stars of the galaxy have descended on the ghats of Kashi. The deities were welcomed on the land of Kashi with the sound of grand Maha Aartis and bells and gharials at all the important ghats. It is worth noting that only yesterday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had taken stock of the arrangements for Dev Deepawali and also gave proper instructions to the officials. On the occasion of Dev Deepawali, each Ghat of Kashi was seen spreading different colors. Somewhere a laser show was organized, then the tourists of the country and the world were seen gazing at the green fireworks. Apart from this, tribute was paid to the brave soldiers of the country by making a replica of Amar Jawan Jyoti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. A wonderful picture of female power was also seen in the Maha Aarti of Mother Ganga. Here as the chief archaka, the girls worshiped Ganga Maiya.
Punyadhara Kashi lit up with 21 lakh lamps
About 21 lakh diyas were lit in Kashi city on Dev Deepawali. More than 10 lakh diyas were lit only on the crescent shaped ghats of Kashi. In this, eight lakh diyas were lit on the 84 ghats located on the west bank, while two lakh diyas were lit on the sands of the east bank. Apart from this, from the Dham of Markandeya Mahadev situated on the banks of Ganga-Gomti, the river bank near Shultankeshwar temple was decorated with attractive lamps. Shivpur Lake, Moti Jheel, Rameshwar Mahadev Temple in Jansa area, Durgakund Temple, Kardameshwar Mahadev Temple Pond, Mandakini Kund in Maidagin, Sankuldhara Pokhara, Surya Sarovar at Bareka as well as at Shastri Ghat of Varuna river were illuminated by lakhs of diyas. .
Modern Kashi view with supernatural
Lightning of 21 lakh diyas simultaneously in Kashi tied the supernatural touch, as well as the story of Ganga cover and Dev Deepawali through 3D projection mapping show for the first time at Chet Singh Ghat and pictorial hymns of Lord Shiva through laser show Hearing this, people were mesmerized. Nationalism with Spirituality
Dev Deepawali festival gave the message of nationalism along with spirituality. Tributes were also paid to the soldiers on the imitation of Amar Jawan Jyoti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Here the people of the army paid tribute to the brave martyrs of the country. Religious events were held at almost all the ghats, religious artwork was seen. Cultural programs were also organized at the Ghats.
SCO Countries Joined
Due to the efforts of PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, Dev Deepawali of Varanasi has started appearing from grand to grand year after year. Recently, Kashi has been declared the cultural and tourism capital for one year by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). On the other hand, on Dev Deepawali, one of the SCO countries from Russia and two members from Kyrgyzstan came to see the supernatural shade of Kashi.
Kashi Vishwanath Dham decorated with 50 tons of flowers
Kashi Vishwanath temple complex was decorated with 50 tonnes of flowers on Dev Deepawali. The decoration work had started two days back. For this, 80 lakh rupees were spent by the government. According to Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma, the decorator of Visakhapatnam voluntarily took the initiative to decorate the temple. The entire temple complex was decorated attractively as per the intention of the Chief Minister. In this, the Gangadwar of Vishwanath Dham was decorated with attractive skirts. After the creation of Shrikashi Vishwanath Dham, this year the first Dev Deepawali has been celebrated. In the coming years also, Vishwanath Dham will be decorated lavishly on Dev Deepawali.
Kashi divided into 9 zones, 6 sectors and 32 sub-sectors for security
The Varanasi Commissionerate Police had made elaborate arrangements to control the crowd of lakhs that gathered at the ghats of Kashi on Dev Deepawali. On Sunday itself, in Varanasi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had instructed the policemen to treat tourists with courtesy. According to Varanasi Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh, security arrangements were made at seven levels in Kashi on Dev Deepawali. In this, complete preparations were already done regarding the safety of the ghats, safety in the river, safety on the road, traffic system, emergency management, inter-departmental coordination and entry and exit. Apart from this, the duty of policemen was imposed by dividing Kashi city into 9 zones, 16 sectors and 32 sub-sectors.
