The Superintendent of the orphanage has informed that the 9-month-old girl was left in the cradle on 4 August 2021. When he saw it in the morning, he informed the police. He was named. A notice was issued for the adoption of the child. Adopted following the law, it is being followed well.
A mother filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court alleging that her daughter was being held hostage. It was argued on behalf of the petitioner that his daughter has been taken hostage by a youth named Yogesh in Rajasthan. He is pre married. He should be freed from Yogesh’s grip. On the orders of the High Court, the police traced the corpus. On February 28, the police brought the Saramathura police station in Dholpur district of Rajasthan and from there, through video conferencing, produced the girl (corpus) before the court. It was told from the side of the girl that no one had taken her hostage. She is living with Yogesh. He is a child and is free to live anywhere. Mother wanted to sell it. So he left home. The petitioner alleged that he had a daughter, who was murdered by him. When the court questioned the girl’s relationship, she told that she has been left in an orphanage in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, and is living in an orphanage. The court has directed Sub Inspector Pradeep Jatav to go to Jaipur. Sub Inspector reached the orphanage there. Submitted the report along with the letter of the orphanage superintendent. Left in the cradle, she has been adopted in a good home. Now the hearing of the petition will take place on March 10.
