Gwalior Court News: Gwalior, New Dunia Rep. By presenting an application in the Special Sessions Court, the complainant Girraj Singh has asked for a copy of the termination report against BJP MP KP Yadav from Guna. The application will be heard on March 14. Girraj Singh had complained against Guna MP and his son to the SDM.
The complainant had alleged that the MP and his son had hidden facts to get the caste certificate made. By hiding the facts, the certificate of non-crimelayer has been taken. He had declared his one year’s income as less than Rs.8 lakh, whereas in the affidavit given in the Lok Sabha elections, the income was Rs.39 lakh. On 23 December 2019, a case of cheating was registered against him at Mungawali police station while canceling the caste certificate. He got anticipatory bail from the High Court. After two years of investigation, the police found the case to be false and submitted the termination report in the Special Sessions Court, Gwalior. The complainant has asked for a copy of the termination report.
Time given for two weeks to form the committee: A double bench of the High Court has given the collector two weeks to form a committee in the matter in which women lawyers had called women unsafe in the city. The court had ordered that a joint committee consisting of a woman lawyer and officers should be formed, which would investigate the safety of women. His report will be presented in the court. In the year 2019, a public interest litigation has been filed in the High Court regarding women’s safety. It was argued on behalf of the petitioner that women and girls are not safe in public places including colleges, schools, tuitions. The court had constituted a committee of women lawyers. This committee inspected the public places of the city and presented its report in the High Court. Women were not declared safe in the report. In this regard, the court had ordered the formation of a joint committee.
