Gwalior executive council meeting News: Gwalior (Naiduniya Pratinidhi). The meeting of the Executive Council of Jiwaji University was held on Thursday, in which the budget for the year 2022-23 was passed. In this budget, a provision of 10 crores has been fixed for the purchase of equipment for the conduct of paramedical courses. Five crore rupees have been approved for the boundary of the proposed land for the medical college in Turari. If the land becomes in the name of JU, then its boundary ball will be done. Smart will be made in every class of the school.
A meeting of the Executive Council was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof. Avinash Tiwari. In this, an income of Rs 179 crore has been reported. While the expenditure stated to be Rs 194 crore. That is, a loss of Rs 12 crore came to the fore. The deficit which has increased in the budget has increased due to increase in dearness and allowances payable from time to time. The deficit has also increased due to lack of adequate increase in the maintenance grant from the state government. Efforts will be made to reduce expenditure to meet this deficit. In the meeting, Registrar Sushil Manderia, Executive Council members Manendra Solanki, Shivendra Rathor, Virendra Gurjar, Sevanti Bhagat, Prof. OP Mishra, Prof. DN Goswami, Prof. Sanjay Kulshrestha, Prof. Mukul Tailang, Prof. YK Jaiswal, Sevanti Bhagat, Vivek Bhadauria, Joint Director of Finance Department Yogendra Saxena, Additional Director of Higher Education Department Dr. MR Kaushal and Finance Controller Dr. Rajiv Mishra were present in the meeting.
objection to buying new vehicles
A proposal was made to buy two new vehicles in the budget. When the proposal of one Innova and one Scorpio came, Yogendra Saxena, Joint Director of Treasury and Accounts lodged a protest. He said that the government has banned the purchase of new vehicles. If JU wishes, these vehicles can be hired. If you want to buy a car, then you have to get approval from the government. Objecting to this, the Vice-Chancellor said that the university is an autonomous institution. She can buy Controversy arose about this. Executive Council members also supported the approval from the government.

Ten crore rupees were approved for AYUSH institute, paramedical course to be conducted in JU.
