Gwalior Fake Hundi Case: Gwalior, New Dunia Rep. The CID will now investigate the well-known case of fraud of crores of rupees of traders with fake bills. Orders have been issued by the DGP on Wednesday. The police have handed over all the documents including the case diary in this case to the CID. The SIT constituted in this case has also been terminated. Two months ago, the first FIR was registered in this case at Kotwali police station, in which traders had registered a case of fraud against Hundi broker Ashish Gupta and his family. After the arrest of Ashish Gupta, three more accused were increased in this case and till now a total of five accused have been arrested.
Due to cheating the money of the traders, in this case from Chamber of Commerce to various organizations are adamant on the demand of recovery of the money by catching the thugs and the protest is going on. At the same time, the closure of the market has also been announced. It is being told that due to this pressure, this case has been transferred to CID. It should be known that on 28 December 2021, Hundi broker Ashish Gupta resident Mainawali Gali Dal Bazar suddenly disappeared. When the traders got suspicious, the police was informed and told that he had gone from the market with crores of rupees. On January 1, a case was registered against Ashish Gupta, wife Ankita, servant Ganesh and father Nathulal Gupta at Kotwali police station on the complaint of traders under other sections including cheating. When the police started the search, a few days later, Ashish was caught with two and a half lakh rupees from the Chambal bridge. On being caught, Ashish told that he has lost crores of rupees to the bookies of the cricket match. This amount is lost to Monu Gupta of Dabra, Dilip Sindhi of Bhopal and Ashish Jain of Guna. The police also made them accused and arrested Dilip and Ashish Jain. After this, the servant Ganesh Kushwaha appeared in front of the police and two days ago Ashish Gupta’s father Nathulal was also caught. In this case, various business organizations are adamant on the demand of strict action against the accused and getting the money back.
Picketing in Lohia Bazar, Gwalior will remain closed on 11th: Traders are agitating in this matter under the leadership of Chamber of Commerce. On Wednesday, a dharna was raised in Lohia Bazar demanding strict action and recovery of the amount. On March 4, there will be a dharna in the new market. The city shutdown has been decided on March 11. Chamber President Vijay Goel, Joint President Prashant Gangwal, Vice President Paras Jain, Mansevi Secretary Praveen Agarwal, Treasurer Basant Agarwal, Iron Traders Association President Sanjay Kathal, Ashish Jain of Timber Association and others were present in the dharna.
High profile case: Two months investigation and now CID: This is a high profile case of cheating with bill papers. In this case, the money of big businessmen of Gwalior has gone. The amount that has been done in the FIR is being told very less. Now the concern of the traders is the recovery of the amount, but the lack of account of the amount has also become a weakness. Chamber of Commerce, CAT, Dal Bazar Vyapar Samiti have been demanding action in this from the beginning and have conveyed their demand to the honorable people. This is the reason why the matter has been shifted to CID.

Orders have been issued to transfer the case of Hundi Dalal to CID. Now this matter will be investigated by the CID. Police took prompt action by arresting five accused in two months. Case diary has also been handed over.
