Gwalior GST News: Varun Sharma, Gwalior Naiduniya. Anti-Evasion Bureau of State GST has started investigation at the field level. Work is also being done on the basis of guidelines to bring new items under the purview of e-way bill. Be aware that goods valued above Rs 50,000 or over a distance of more than 50 km levy an e-way bill. In Madhya Pradesh, there are two anti-evasion units in Indore, one in Gwalior, one in Jabalpur, one in Satna and one in Bhopal. These anti evasion units cannot take any action on the field without power. It has been almost two months and thirty new items which have been brought under the purview of e-way bill have not been verified during this period.
Till now e-way bill was required only for these items: Pan Masala, Confectionery, Plywood Laminated Sheet, Iron & Steel, Edible Oil, Auto Parts, Cigarette Tobacco & Tobacco Products, Electrical Goods, Electronic Goods, Furniture, Lubricants, Tiles, Ceramic Goods, Ceramic Blocks and Ceramic Pipes.
E-way bill is applicable on 30 more items from December 2: Grocery, clothing, readymade garments, oil seeds, paints and putties, molasses obtained from sugar refineries, betel nut and its products, mouth fresheners and similar articles, all food preparations containing mineral water, chocolate and cocoa, clothing accessories, All types of vehicles, their parts and accessories, rubber and articles made from it, scrap of all metals, utensils, cement. Marble and granite, copper brass and their products, aluminum and their products, nickel and its products, non-alcoholic breweries such as cold drinks, crackers and explosives, crockery, cosmetic and toilet articles, hardware goods, plastics and articles thereof, packing materials and ropes E-way bill has been implemented from December 2 on Sanitary Goods, Pesticides, Coal, Petroleum Products, Asphalt, Emulsion, Biodiesel, Dry Fruits, but the implementation is yet to be done.
