With regard to the widening of the road to be built across the river from Tall to Murar, the municipal staff took action along with the building officer Virendra Shakya and the police force. About a dozen houses were demolished during the operation. In protest against this action, the head of Triple S organization Lakhan Boudh first gheraoed the Municipal Commissioner’s bungalow and later on Bal Bhavan.
At the same time, the building officer took action on two illegal colonies being built in Suresh Nagar. The corporation has already lodged an FIR on these colonizers for cutting these illegal colonies, but even after this, these colonies were being cut. The Municipal Corporation is widening the road from Murar Muktidham to Murar police station. Due to this, houses have been demolished here in the past. At the same time, all the landlords who had talked about breaking them themselves were given one month’s time. During a month, these people did not demolish the houses built on most of their parts. Due to this, on Thursday, Municipal Building Officer Virendra Shakya, Liquor Officer Shailendra Chauhan, along with the police force reached the spot. There these people started demolishing the houses with the help of JCB. People also opposed this action, but due to the presence of police force, the action continued. In the evening, a large number of people led by Triple S chief Lakhan Buddh reached the bungalow of Municipal Commissioner Kishore Kanyal. Started picketing there, but the municipal commissioner was not at the bungalow, due to which everyone reached Bal Bhavan in the evening. There the municipal commissioner was taking a meeting. After this, they staged a dharna at Bal Bhavan.
Action taken on illegal colonies: The building branch of the Municipal Corporation took action with the help of Madakhlat on two illegal colonies being built in Murar area. During this, the boundary wall, road, sewer line etc. of the illegal colony being built in New Suresh Nagar were uprooted. At the same time, sewer lines, electric poles and roads were uprooted in Doli Enclave illegal colony. During the action, building officer Virendra Shakya, building inspector Amit Gupta, Rajiv Pandey, liquor officer Gwalior East Shailendra Chauhan etc. were present.
